There are several different types of cosmetic gynecological procedures that are gaining in popularity, and among them are the Labiaplasty and the <\/span>Monsplasty<\/span><\/a>. While both of these procedures are different, they do have one thing in common: they can help change the look of different parts of the labia and vulva, which can give you more confidence both in and out of the bedroom, in your favorite clothing, and while working out or exercising. A Monsplasty is a procedure that reshapes the mons pubis area, or the area of fatty and fleshy tissue that protects the pubic bone. A monsplasty can actually change the amount of skin or reduce the fatty tissue present, which can give the area a more polished and desired look. A monsplasty can be quite popular when paired with other procedures, such as a labiaplasty. Depending on how much skin or fatty tissue that is to be removed from the mons pubis area, the procedure can be done either under general anesthesia or local anesthesia. A small incision is made into the area, and then excess fatty tissue is removed, and the skin tightened up.
