Becoming a mom is a wonderful experience, filled with many joys and firsts. However, the body a woman is sometimes left with post-pregnancy can become a source of great frustration. While some issues can be fixed with plastic surgery, including tummy tuck procedures, breast enhancement and liposuction, other post-baby changes may require a different type of intervention. In Los Angeles, some mommy makeover candidates are considering vaginal rejuvenation and tightening; Dr. David Ghozland offers these life-changing procedures to moms of all ages in his busy Los Angeles OB/GYN practice.

Let’s face it, childbirth takes a toll on a woman’s body. Multiple vaginal deliveries can impact a woman’s ability to enjoy intercourse, especially if the vagina loses its elasticity. The loss of muscle tone can lead to less enjoyable sex for women and their partners, and may also lead to urinary incontinence.

To address this concern, Dr. Ghozland utilizes a technique called vaginal tightening with Femilift. This procedure is a non-invasive and can help restructure the tissue in the vagina and restore its youthfulness and muscle tone. The best part is, patients do not need anesthesia or even a numbing treatment. It’s quick, effective and pain-free!

Femilift uses laser technology that creates a heating effect on the vaginal tissue. The heat stimulates collagen and elastin resulting in a natural rejuvenation of the vaginal walls. Dr. Ghozland uses precise controls during the procedure to achieve optimal results in as little as 15 minutes. Many patients have vaginal rejuvenation and tightening done during their lunch hour.

Patients who undergo vaginal rejuvenation and tightening appreciate the many benefits, including:

• Non-invasive, pain free and zero down time

• Improved vaginal muscle tone and enhanced elasticity

• Increased sexual responsiveness during sexual intercourse

• Diminished symptoms of urinary incontinence
